Golf Tips Puttery Challenge: Official Rules
1. The Challenge
The Golf Tips Puttery Challenge (the "Challenge") is a free online putting competition played in Puttery, the browser putting game by PrimePutt. It is organized by Golf Tips and PrimePutt with 24K Sports (the "Organizers").
The Challenge is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Reddit.
2. Dates
The Challenge runs from Sunday, October 4, 2026 through Saturday, October 31, 2026. All dates and times are Eastern Time.
Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2026. Play closes at 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2026.
3. Who can enter
Anyone 18 or older may play, from anywhere in the world. Prizes are available only to residents of the United States and Canada. Players elsewhere keep their place on the leaderboard but do not receive a prize.
Each person may hold one account and one entry. Puttery administrators and employees of the Organizers may play and keep their place on the leaderboard, but they do not receive a prize. Their prize goes to the next eligible player. Restricted accounts cannot enter.
4. How to enter
Entry is free and no purchase is required. Go to puttery.primeputt.com/puttle, create a free player profile with a valid email address, choose a public handle, complete any account verification requested and accept these rules before registration closes.
5. Courses
The Challenge has twelve courses, three per week, for 72 counted holes. Each course has six holes: two slow, two medium and two fast greens. Three new courses open every Sunday: Courses 1–3 on October 4, Courses 4–6 on October 11, Courses 7–9 on October 18, Courses 10–12 on October 25.
Every player gets the same holes and conditions on a course, on every attempt. A course stays locked until its opening day. Once it opens, it stays open until play closes, so players who join late or miss a week can still play it.
6. Attempts
Each player may make up to five attempts on each course. An attempt starts with its first putt. A round in progress is resumed, not restarted.
A started round must be completed within 60 minutes. Abandoned, forfeited and expired rounds count toward the five attempts. Attempts never reset, and every attempt must be finished before play closes.
7. Scoring
Only a player's best complete, verified round on each course counts. The twelve course scores are added together, and the lowest total wins.
A player must complete all twelve courses to qualify for a prize. Players with unfinished courses are listed as provisional, ordered by courses completed and then by total putts. A better score on one course cannot replace a missing course.
8. Ties
Ties are broken in this order: fewer holes with three or more putts, then more one-putt holes, then the lower worst counted course score, then the lower best counted course score. Players still tied share the place, and each eligible player receives that place's full prize.
9. Prizes
Mat models and sizes, and the details of the coaching session, will be confirmed and published here before the Challenge ends.
- 1st: A PrimePutt putting mat and a private virtual one-on-one session with PGA Coach Brendon Elliott.
- 2nd: A PrimePutt putting mat and $100 in golf products from Amazon.
- 3rd: A PrimePutt putting mat and $75 in golf products from Amazon.
- 4th–5th: $75 in golf products from Amazon for each eligible player in fourth or fifth place.
10. Verification and winners
All results are subject to verification and integrity review before they are final. The Organizers may disqualify any entry that breaks these rules or interferes with the game.
Winners are contacted privately at their account email address and have 14 days to claim their prize.
11. Communications and privacy
Entering the Challenge does not sign you up for marketing emails. Communication preferences are managed separately in your Puttery account. Private entrant information is not shared with partners.
These rules were frozen when the Season was published and cannot change mid-Season.
